In this case, Windows 7 is winning because in the latest version (Windows 7), the view is really smooth with the graphic which is very nice. Not only that, Windows 7’s appearance is also equipped with aero and transparent effects. We are also given wide selection of colors inside. However, if we want to enjoy the various pleasures above, you should have a large RAM capacity, if the RAM in your computer does not have large enough capacity, then your computer will work slowly. However, Windows 7 is still better in this case. This case also makes many people use this operating system. Different from Windows 7, Linux does not really think about the appearance, as we have previously discussed in the first difference. However, in the latest version, Ubuntu Natty Narwhal, has had a smoother graphics although the color is still the basic colors that is simple.

The third difference between Ubuntu Natty Narwhal (11.04) and Windows 7 is the software. Software is something inseparable with operating system because the main content of operating systems is collection of softwares. There are so many kinds of software for your operating system. It depends on what you need. You are able to download software on the internet or buy it on software shop also on the internet. When we talk about software, Windows 7 has a lot of support softwares which are powerful and complex. But unfortunately, a few of that softwares are installable by buying with the expensive cost. Even thought Windows 7 is not obtained free of charge, every version of Windows is sold at more expensive prices. Added with support software that is expensive also makes us have to pay a lot just for the software. Although there is also free software, but it is only a few. It does not happen in Ubuntu Natty Narwhal. All softwares and applications for this operating system can be obtained free of charge. All you need to do it only connect your computer to the internet, then you are free to download many support software that you want. You do not have to pay and find the “crack” for the software because Ubuntu Natty Narwhal and also all version of Linux are open source. It means, all people are able to edit the programs which are needed.

So, what would you choose? If you love to use an operating system which is simple, interesting and easy to get, I recommend you to choose Windows 7 because it gives you what you need. But you need to remember that you should have more money to pay anything which is needed to support your operating system. And you also should to pay more attention on your computer because many viruses, malwares and spywares are targeting you computer. It is different when you love to use Ubuntu Natty Narwhal which is an operating system that needs your improvement to use it because you can do anything in your Ubuntu Natty Narwhal. You also can experiment freely. And you also do not have to spend more money to pay anything to support your operating system because all of its contents are free.
